Very happy with purchase - was worried about Ice freezing cubes issue frequent comments on reviews but we have not had any issues with the ice cubes getting stuck or freezing. A year later with change of required filters for air and water and everything working just fine.

Do not but from this company. They do not stand behind their product. This refrigerator is a lemon. Sealed air system is bad on mine after 3 years. They usually offer a 5 year warranty for sealed air problems, but not with this model...probably because they new it was bad. So I either have to invest another $1,000 plus into a defective product or buy a new fridge. The customer service from this company is absolute garbage.

Purchased an entire kitchen, (5 Appliances), out of those 5, only one has worked properly. The refrigerator started having issues within the first couple of weeks, it was serviced several times but never did work correctly. This unit even undermined our kitchen floor due to "fan issues" that created a water leak. Frigidaire did not want to replace this unit after the initial year was up even though it had issues for that entire time. Luckily, the dealer was able to get a replacement unit. I will NEVER purchase another Frigidaire appliance!

Nice Fridge/Bad Ice Maker

This was my dream fridge, UNTIL.....the ice maker is inside the refrigerator, not the freezer, therefore every time you open the fridge, you lose cold air and reduce the temperarature, which in turn reduces the ability to make ice. Now we're getting no ice at all. After two service calls and being told now that the ice maker is freezing solid, we've resorted to purchasing ice!! Not a good experience for paying just shy of $3,000 for a fridge!!!

The 1st set of replacement boards from Frigidaire were no good. Now the appliance repair company have been waiting over a week for Frigidaire to supply boards. Well, I was satisfied with my refrigerator until a month ago, my ice and water just stopped dispensing out of the blue. I had a technician come out and said the control board needed replaced. Well, come to find out the whole door actually needs replaced due to faulty wiring. This is a fridge that is only 15 months old that I spent a lot of money on. So, if you are wanting a product that will not last and a company that does not care that their products do not last, then by all means buy a Frigidaire. I hate writing negative reviews, but I am so sad and frustrated by my experience with Frigidaire and how their appliance did not last. In my opinion, it just is not acceptable that they are selling products like this.

We inherited this French door Frigidaire Gallery when we purchased the home in 2019. The ice maker has completely quit working this time after being hit and miss for the last few years. Now, I am getting Sy and EF codes that won™€™t clear. This fridge has been the worst appliance I have ever owned. I have a 1970™€™s model in the garage that works great. So disappointing to read through the reviews to discover this is a common problem.

I bought this appliance in late 2020 and have had nothing but trouble with the ice machine. The fan froze, the ice machine was totally replaced and I've had 2 line freezes. Although I had bought a service plan, but it doesn't help when they have to keep replacing a poorly designed machine. Wood floor is damaged due to water leaking as is an expensive boat model kit. Saw a class action law suit on other models ice machines, but not this one.

Bought the Gallery series French Door in 2021, maybe June? For the first time ever, we paid for the extended warranty and a good thing too. Ice maker quit (for the first of 4 times now) after three months. One of the big shelves broke within the same time period and the replacement was a downgrade from the original. A paper thin piece of plastic that held up a small shelf on the inside of a door ripped not long after and rendered the tiny shelf useless (to fix this requires a new door, $$$). The upper freezer drawer has been shedding wheels and small pieces of acrylic since early on and to this day continues to disintegrate bit by bit. Just yesterday, the front of one of the big produce drawers broke at one corner. We have a guy coming tomorrow to fix the ice maker again. We've replaced the $40.00 water filter half a dozen times but that does not fix anything anymore. We received a quote for 800.00 to fix what's wrong with it, not including 70.00/hr service fee...Needless to say, find something else, anything else. It truly does not deserve the Fridgidaire name.

Why does the refrigerator in the garage (15 years old) work better than the on that is almost 2 years old? Technician was called in December and told us there were no issues ($175), even though the ice maker and freezer have not worked for months. An independent technician tells us there is a freon leak and the freezer needs mechanical parts need to be replaced. After requesting warranty service, I was told it would require an additional $150. For what, another tech to tell me nothing is wrong? Beyond ridiculous.

3 Ice maker Failures in 3 months

Within 13 months we found water on our wooden kitchen floor due to the ice maker failing. The "mother board" was replaced. A month later the ice maker failed again & was replaced, the next month, (again water on our floor) it failed for the 3rd time. As an aside, I am managing the Appliance dept. at a Bog Box retailer (perhaps Frigidaire's largest customer" & given my experience it's difficult to sell my customers Frigidaire appliances!

Faulty ice maker

About a year after purchase ( July 2020 ) ice maker leaked through ice discharger chute. After 3 visits by a local appliance technician and an authorized Frigidaire technician, it was determined the ice maker had to be replaced, but with the same type ice maker. Latter technician indicated a replacement had to be installed, but he would turn off the ice maker. Technician was advised ice maker still operating, and effort to do so by owner following owner manual instructions also failed. Technician indicated he would "figure it out"; 2 text messages, phone call and 18 days later no response from technician. Chat agent said she would contact technician for follow up and advise of her effort. No word from chat agent 3 days later. Refrigerator works well otherwise.

Broke within months and Frigidaire will not fix

I installed a brand new Frigidaire Gallery bottom freezer refrigerator in November 2021. As of May 2022, the freezer stopped retaining cold temperatures, the refrigerator froze items near the ice maker, and the ice maker stopped producing cubes. The water dispenser never worked properly. I had two technicians come out 3x and they were not able to fix it. I requested a replacement and they stated they needed to try fixing the computer board. This was over 2 months ago and they have not sent a tech and I have not received the part. I have contacted Frigidaire and the Frigidaire service company in my area. No one can provide me any information. I requested a transcript of the last call and they did not send it. This is all so sketchy. Don™€™t purchase from them. I am opening a case with BBB and the AG™€™s office.

Recurrent problems

We bought this model in February 2020 and the ice maker quit working after a couple of months. A technician came and replaced the temperature sensor in the ice maker which fixed the problem.... for ten days. Then it quit again and also we then also noticed a leak on the floor coming from under the refrigerator. The technician came back and removed a large chunk of ice from above the ice maker, which fixed the ice maker. He said that was a known problem with this model. He also had to order a valve to replace one that was leaking in the back of the refrigerator. We had to shut off the water to the refrigerator for a month to prevent more leaking while waiting for the part, so we had no ice and no water. r After the part arrived another technician came to replace it. That was about two weeks ago. The ice maker is working now, but our kitchen floor all around the refrigerator has been ruined. We can't replace it yet until we are sure our problems are resolved. We are tripping over raised boards. Today, my husband stepped on a piece of the floor next to the refrigerator that has been raised up due to water damage, and water seeped out from under it. It appears that our problems have not ended.

Dangerous manufacture's defect that has damaged our home and prevents use as designed

My wife and I purchased this 21 CF model in summer 2020, beautiful but apparently has design flaws which have led to home damage and failure to function. Recently there has been an electric/burn smell, ice maker quit working and we have had water damage to our wood floor, the sub floor and the wall behind the unit. We have shut the water supply off to try to avoid an electrical issue with water contact. We have contacted the Call Center/Customer Engagement staff who have forwarded us to Risk Management, and Risk Management has sent us to back to Customer engagement at 1-800-374-4432, which is unable to take our call. Please escalate this up the corporate ladder so we can be restored and obtain a unit functions. Thank you.

I purchased my fridge in July 2019. I called for repairs and had the ice maker replaced but then the mother board and front panel needed to be replaced. I have been without a fridge since 6/12/20 and as of today 7/10/20, I am still without a fridge in the middle of a pandemic and summer! I have been told by customer service that I have to exhaust every possibility of repair because giving me a new fridge is not covered under manufacturer warranty. This product is less than a year old. I have to risk my health and my family™€™s health on a daily basis to pick up our meals for the day because I have no fridge! A fridge is an essential appliance. Do not buy this product and I would second guess buying any Frigidaire product ever again!

Fire hazardFire hazard! I purchased this Frigidaire gallery fridge brand new 13 months ago. Within a month the ice maker quit working however I blamed it on our hard water. On Monday my wife calls me at work and says the fridge is making a knocking noise and the display screen is flashing on and off. Told her to unplug it and I would fix it when I got home. I get home and pull off the panels on the back as soon as I pull it off I can smell the electric.. I pull the computer board and it had caught on fire.. I call Frigidaire and they tell me our warranty expired last month and they won™€™t do anything and don™€™t have the replacement computer board. I explained that it was clearly a fire issue and they refuse to work with me. I end up finding a new computer from a different supplier got it yesterday and wired it all back in. Plug it in and 5 min later it catches on fire again™€¦. Morale of the store do not buy a Frigidaire for your next fridge. If it would have caught on fire that night no telling if we would have been able to stop the fire from spreading. Frigidaire this refrigerator is a fire hazard and if this fire would have spread to our home the ending would have been way worst.

We purchased this refrigerator in the Fall of 2020. Just a little over a year and a half later, the ice machine started failing. Then the freezer became a super freezer according to our tech. It was at -15 degrees even though the panel said 6 degrees. We then found out our issues were very common and we were offered a discount on a new one, but there wasn't a model available, that fit our needs, at the price we needed to be within to get the discount. Also, we were gonna have to spend at least another $1000 on a new refrigerator. When were asked for a 30 extension of our discount we were told no. We have tried to make due and now the refrigerator has gone the opposite direction and the freezer is like a refrigerator. We have already spent about $650 in tech services just to find out it cant be fully repaired and basically its a lemon. I am glad to see that it has been discontinued. If available in a big box store or somewhere online....do not buy!

This model is terrible. I™€™ve owned it since 2019 and the ice maker has broken for several different reasons at least 4 times. Food along the edges of the refrigerator freezes and no one seems to really know why. Customer service is the worst of any company I™€™ve dealt with. Never again will I purchase a Frigidaire product.

2019 Model With Issues

I have this model manufactured in 11/2019 and was installed summer of 2020, so a little more than two years after purchase I have had many problems that the service tech has not been able to fix for months. The service techs have been routinely servicing the equipment, ordering several parts for install without success. Further, since the refrigerator has not been able to be fixed, the HI temp alarm has been going off the entire time. The refrigerator is designed for the freezer to be the first to fail, with the main refrigerator last to fail, so I have been without a freezer for months as well as a reliable ice maker. I have all Frigidaire appliances in my home and enjoy them. So I'm out a lot of money paying to service this refrigerator since every tech has a different opinion of what is wrong and going to be out even more to purchase another refrigerator.

Ice Maker isn't working and they cancelled our service contract

Our service contract which is dated to go through April 2025 was cancelled when we called for service ti fix our ice maker that stopped working. This is the third refrigerator as it has been replaced twice, first because the ice maker was not functional, the second refrigerator had a miss alignment of the freezer door that could not be repaired and now the ice maker in this frig isn't working. Those two were replaced during our first year. We therefore took out a 5 year service contract when the second frig failed just to avoid problems down the road but when we called this week they told us the contract had been cancelled because we had already received a replacement. And the representative was nearly impossible to understand. We paid nearly $300 for the contract for 5 years ov coverage and now we find that it will not be honored. Very disappointed in Frigidaire.

Freezer not cooling

The freezer stopped cooling so we had a service company come out and we were told we would need a new sealed system that would cost as much as the original cost of the refrigerator. Our refrigerator is less than 3 years old. This is unacceptable that a refrigerator would last less than 3 years.

Our ice maker got delivered to us broken. The store replaced the ice maker then it broke 4 more times in one year. We replaced it every time and it is still currently broken. I do not recommend it due to the ice maker never working properly

LED lights stopped working at about 9 months. They sent A&E Factory Service to do the repairs February 2022. Parts were backordered. Waited a couple months to check on parts. A&E Factory Service stated there was no record of any service needing done for me. They send another company to do the repairs. Same story only this company would not answer or return phone calls. Upon my request they sent a local reputable repair company to look at it (September 2022). They determined after consulting with Frigidaire, it was not repairable, and fridge would be replaced. New fridge delivery and install scheduled for 11/16. No calls no one showed up. Rescheduled for 11/17. No calls no one showed up. Promised it would be delivered on 11/18. Yep you guessed it still no fridge. Was told it would be delivered no later than 11/23. Guess what still no fridge. Fridge somehow was damaged or missing. Another would have to be ordered and sent out for delivery. Order for new fridge placed on 11/28. Delivery set up for 12/16. You guessed it, still no fridge. On 12/22 order was once again cancelled. Guess I am waiting for another one to be ordered and delivered. Zero customer service.

After about 10 months of purchase the freezer has started to give me a H1 alarm. The indicated T is 20-30 F whereas actual measured T is -10 to 2 F. I am told that the control board needs to be changed. How I can I get a replacement control board? Otherwise the refrigerator operates well but I would like to eliminate this alarm if possible.

So upset! My refrigerator is a year and half old and it™€™s broken already! Repair man ($138.00) told me after being here 5 mins that he can™€™t fix it. Needs another field technician to come out because the problem is in the seal system. Could be Expensive.

I can™€™t believe 3 weeks to Christmas and our relatively new refrigerator is broken, and I tried calling Frigidaire and you can™€™t get help on the phone or on the website. This is unacceptable service. I had to take off from work today to have a Frigidaire approved service technician tell me 5 mins after walking in my house that I have a major problem, could cost more to fix my 17 month fridge than to replace it with a new one. I won™€™t know for sure until I take off another day and have another specialist come and take a closer look. Frigidaire- do the right thing and fix this problem.

Worst Refrigerator Ever made

This is my 2nd Frigidaire Gallery in 6 years. I remodeled my kitchen in 2016 all Frigidaire appliances. After 14 months french 3 door refrigerator started making noises ice machine quit working. Purchased a Samsung worked great. Wife wanted the matching appliances so purchased another Gallery 2001 and now its a piece of junk Ice machine freezes up found water on floor when all the ice melted, cant get a repair man to fix. They call Frigidaire for tech support replaced Stepper Valve twice, per the Frigidaire tech support recommendation still not working freezer goes up to 52 when its set @0. Don't but this product unless you purchase a lifetime extended warranty, because you will have to buy a new refrigerator every 1-2 years because Frigidaire doesnt know how to fix their problems

Only a couple of very minor items to mention. Our middle drawer has the ability to be a freezer or refrigerator. We use it as a freezer, but we've noticed a wide swing in temperature not measured, but you can tell in ice cream hard as a rock and two days later the same ice cream is softer and much easier to scoop. It is still frozen though, so not a big concern. The food door in the refrigerator portion on the left is slightly wider than the left door. I would suggest future models if people are going to use two doors, each door should have accessibility for the drawers on that side. If I open the left door, you can't pull the drawer out very far. Lastly, the doors with the hinge mechanism is noisy. When you open or close the left door, the piece that forms the seal in the middle of the two doors is noisy. These are all very minor, but I'm trying to be honest about my opinion and hope it helps with future development.

Worst Refrigerator Ever

I bought this on 9/22/20. By 10/25/22 it is broken and not cooling. I have paid $400 for a new inverter to be installed and still not cooling. The back has a rust spot behind the ice maker. I am telling you this $3000 refrigerator is the worst appliance I have ever had. I would give 0 stars if that was an option. I wouldn't take this fridge if you gave it to me. Horrible experience.

I can't say how well it works because I haven't used it yet. When it was installed, the unit never cooled. Rather than offer me a new unit, I was told that I had to go through the process and if it was deemed unfixable I may receive a new unit after a review. I deserve a new unit!

Appealing & roomy interior

We have all built-in Frigidaire appliances. When our old side-by-side needed replacing, this french door caught our attention. It was difficult to purchase model FG4H2272UF because it has been discontinued. This does raise some concern but we're pleased with the purchase & appearance. The refrigerator was damaged during delivery & seems to dent easily as we noticed with all brands displayed in the store.

Love the looks of refrig. and compartment you can set temp. Disappointed in amount of food it holds. Also the veggie/fruit compartments are just not high/deep enough to put much in them. I am very upset, however, that my doors are not aligned. One is higher than other. I was not here when they were installed by Lowe's in my new home, but would think they would have noticed the doors are not even.

Solid Well designed Fridge

I sell appliances for a living and intentionally chose this Frigidaire when my Kitchenaid failed last month...My choice was based upon design and build. Everything about the build is sturdy. The full sized ice maker alleviates concerns over the historic failings of compact ice makers across all brand lines. The fridge is pleasing to the eye and the interior design really maximized the interior space. I am able to fit more into this counter depth 21 cubit foot fridge than my former 23.8.
