I love my counter depth Samsung Flex Dual Range. I can cook two items at different temps or only use it as a single range. I am able to preheat the oven using the app and receive notifications when the set temperature is achieved - worth the money.

I bought this oven a month ago and I'm glad I did. Using the smaller oven is perfect for pizzas and smaller items. Everyone who comes over compliments the oven. Using the smart things app is great for having oven pre heat while on way home from the grocery store.

I have used the two ovens extensively. With the holidays here will be a huge help. Also the convection times are spot on. The feature to lock the panel avoids accidental oven being turned on. The various racks and manual show you everything you need to know. The to surface is slightly wider so you do not have that small space between the counter. So nice to not have anything that could fall in between the range and the cabinet. Would definitively purchase sgain

the burners are too hot, cannot control the heat in a reasonable amount of time. burns the food before you can cool it down. i have blistering in my glass since the first two weeks from who knows what, the top has to be cleaned every time you use it. called for service several times, the company does not respond, i have emailed the service company 3x, called them 3x, called samsung, still no service call. do not buy this. i should have read the reviews, i had no idea it was a 3 year old model when i bought it. bought it for the double ovens.

've had this range for 6 months, and I'm still trying the features. I keep the manual close by to refer to. The oven controls are quite sensitive so the lock out feature is great. Just leaning on the panel to reach over the range can activate the oven controls. Double oven is very useful for multiple dishes. Multiple cooking modes. Cooking temperatures are accurate. The cooktop is beautiful and easy to clean. Burners are sized well. Warming drawer is a plus. This range checked all the boxes for features I was looking for.

This Samsung range could be better. It looks good in my kitchen but there are several things that I don't like.
1. The glass cooktop scratches very easily.
2. It's very easy to accidentally bump the knobs and turn the burners on.
3. When the oven is on it vents hot air out the top of the oven door. This makes the person who is cooking on the cook top very uncomfortable.
4. I am afraid to use the self cleaning oven. There are many reports of the oven malfunctioning during the self cleaning.

Very nice range, appears to be well made. I have had it for over a year now and haven't had any problems requiring repair. I like that my model has lights around the burner knobs that illuminate whenever they are turned on. This makes it very easy to tell if any are turned on. The oven heats up very quickly and seems to heat evenly. The stove top is a little difficult to work with. It takes forever to heat up and then stays hot for a very long time. It's like the glass is very thick, long to heat and the too long to cool down making it difficult to cook things. My several previous glass top stove were nowhere as difficult to control.
Samsung offered an incentive to submit this review but I don't believe it in any way influenced my review, other than getting me to do it.

It's time for a new Electric Range and after researching several option, I decided on the Samsung Flex Duo 5.8 Cu. Ft. Double Oven Electric Range in Black Stainless Steel. This is a dual purpose range and can be used as a single oven or two separate ovens. Samsung provided professional installation and it's the highlight of my kitchen. After using the Range for a week, I am very impressed with the features, aesthetics, and ease of use.
The Samsung Electric Range is packed with features and the controls are very intuitive. The Owner's Manual is very well written and easy to follow. I especially like the dual convection oven capability, multi-control large cook top burner, and Wi-Fi feature to preheat the oven using a smart phone. The front oven control panel is very well arranged and easy to use. The bottom warming drawer is also a nice feature and the black stainless provides a rich elegant look.
The Samsung Flex Duo Double Oven Electric Range is is probably the best non-commercial electric range available. Highly recommended!!

I love the fact that I can use the oven as one large oven or insert the divider an use it as two separate ovens to cook multiple items at two different temperatures! I use it split most of the time, but baking certain items (like cookies) performs best in one oven. And it's large enough for a huge turkey too. I also like the fact that the warming drawer has a shelf to store the divider when not in use. And I use the warming drawer for its basic purpose at one of three temperatures, or to store cookie sheets when I don't need it. I also love the fact that I can broil in the top oven (and only have to open half of the door to view progress), while baking in the bottom oven. I also like the stovetop features of one burner being used for 3 different size burners. Also, there are two smaller burners that I can bridge to use a large griddle on both together. The only thing I could possibly wish for would be another large burner for those occasions when I need two large burners. But I wouldn't trade this range for any other, not even a dual oven (already have that option). Controls are lighted & I love all the features, except the timer could be a bit louder so I can hear from another room. But it if you can!

I purchased the stove in May 2019 to replace my 25 year old electric stove. I was looking for a glass top for ease of cleaning (Found out glass is more work - needs to be cleaned daily) and ability to choose to use whole oven or portion. I loved the fact that I can bake in the convection top. However, when I baked bread or brownies in the top oven, the cake burns on the top and is raw inside so you have to use the regular oven. Also, you can only turn the timer on or off. It is so quiet that you can only hear it if you are next to the stove and no other appliances are running!!

this is the 1 of 4 samsung appliances we bought feb. 2017. my wife used the self cleaning feature in feb. 28 and the machine went on the fritz....stopped working...acting possessed. this oven was looked at by geek squad or samsung's technicians 4 times...the issue never identified. feel bad for wife who is excellent cook and baker. counting the days until 5th shutdown occurs. just send us a new unit. had to replace microwave, family hub icemaker freezes up. samdumb, you let us down.

we purchased this range, a fridge, dishwasher and vent all samsung. love them all with the exception of the range. it has overheated to the point it shut it self off and sent an error code. today i set it to bake at 350 and it broiled on high instead the entire time. our simple pizza was a was a round black puck, it took an hour to get the smoke out of the house. at least the vent works. called service and was told a service tech would call that everything was covered under warranty, only to get a text message later stating that the range is out of warranty and it will cost $300 for the service fee plus parts and an additional $50 if a second service person has to come.

We bought this when it was on sale from Home Depot and stored in the box until we started our renovation of kitchen. When it was installed by contractor (1 year later unfortunately), it was clear that someone from Home Depot had dropped the oven and they have refused to face up to their responsibility. The bottom drawer is bent and the oven door does not fully close. However, since the issue was at the bottom of the oven, it was hidden by the bottom of the box when delivery people from Home Depot put it in our garage. Samsung said too bad out of warranty and Home Depot ignores calls and letters. We own tv's, two refrigerators and a microwave and are happy with all of those (except microwave). Great company, just really poor service on this one by both Samsung and Home Depot.

Bought one 16 months ago and the digital screen has already failed. We don't even use the oven that much. Come to find out, it was a very aged model in Sept of 2017 when we bought it from Lowes and now parts are very difficult and expensive to replace. In today's electronic world, one would never imagine that a digital screen would go out in 16 months. The screen on my phone has been working for several years and gets used every day.

We purchased a "black stainless steel" Flex Duo range, and it is not stainless steel. It appears that stainless steel is a color in terms of Samsung's language. Check out the paint chip that happened within two months of having the stove, and there was no unusual wear/tear incident that caused it. Samsung says this is "cosmetic" and they will not warrant it. Very disappointing, and it seems I cannot even get a small container of touch up paint for it. Notice the small scratching all along the front from just normal cooking. Not worth all the extra cash, and not actually stainless steel.

I love this oven. It has so many features that make life easier. I've only used it a few times so far but the steak and roasted potatoes that I made as my first meal in there was fabulous. The oven and individual burners heat up quickly, about two-thirds the time of my old stove, saving time and energy. The fast boil burner, with the three different sizes is so useful. I can make a small bowl of soup or a big pot of spaghetti. It took a little getting used to the fact that the knobs for the stove had different settings depending on what you need – one knob controls both the front burner and the bridge but it's very well marked in order to avoid accidentally turning on the wrong thing. The control panel responds well when you touch it – waking up quickly from sleep mode. The labels are clear and the buttons are large enough that I know what I'm pressing. While I like the duo oven door and used the separate temps for my steak and potatoes, I had to plan my meal carefully because in order to open up the bottom, you have to open the top. I didn't want to disturb the steak once I put it in but I had put the potatoes, that needed to cook longer, on the bottom. I made sure I turned the potatoes, then put the steak in so that the whole door would remain shut until the steak was done. For making cookies, the convection bake was great, allowing me to lower the temp required (again saving me energy) and ensuring an even temp throughout the oven for multiple trays. Overall I am very happy with this oven.

We bought this model a week ago (July 2018) and immediately wanted to connect and test the wifi feature. We didn't get very far. Even though our phones (iPhone 7 and Google) are not the latest versions, they are imcompatible with the oven's already dated technology.
It's a disappointment considering the price reflects this as an added feature.
Other than that, so far, we are loving the range.

My husband and I LOVE the different sized burners and the bridge option on the cooktop. We also love that the top overhangs a bit on the counter so that crumbs do not fall between the cabinets and the range. The warming center is also very nice to have. I do wish there was something more on the back side to keep food from falling behind the range though we have had it almost 2 months and only a couple pieces of spilled rice have fallen back there. I would hate for something to boil over and run behind the oven. The knobs being on the front make it easy for them to get bumped and turned on accidentally also but they light up bright so it is easy to tell when they are on.
The oven cooks super evenly which is awesome, I like that you can open the top door without having to open the bottom oven door. I do wish there was the option of having 2 separate doors on the oven so that when we only need to check the bottom oven I don't have to let all the heat out of the top oven. I would rather have this than the warming drawer that basically is only used to collect dog hair in our home.
My only REAL complaint about this oven is that when you are frying anything and the grease splatters out it is very difficult to make the appliance looks shiny and new again and it's not just an easy wipe with a soapy dishcloth to make it look clean, but even with that I would totally purchase this appliance again.

I bought my range 2 months ago, I stepped away for 2 mins and water spilled over causing the fans that cool elements to burn. I called Samsung and after 3 days they went out only to tell me that Samsung warranty does not cover my mistake.
Looks like fans should have been protected against spillovers to begin with. I bought, a fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave and very unsatisfied with product.

We have had numerous fires and one child burned. The knobs are very sensitive and can be bumped on too easily. I have notified Samsung and they sent out a technician but they can't do anything because the mechanism is encased. I am putting it out to the curb tonight.

This stove looks great when it comes out of the box but I've had the same trouble with 2 of them in 6 months. The glass gets blemishes when you cook with it. Way to much money for it to look like something you could pick up from a second hand store after you boil a pan of water on it. Samsung won't replace the glass top because it is considered cosmetic even tho the blemishes are under the glass. Neither Samsung or Lowe's will stand behind the product they are selling. I'm disappointed that Samsung will continue to sell this stove without making improvements and will not take ownership of the inferior quality of the product.

New house so couldn't wait for induction range in black stainless steel. Purchased this range as a dip the toes in the water on having appliances on the network. After two weeks and an unanswered support escalation (2173933242) I finally figures out why the iPhone Smart Home app has 1 star rating. It gets stuck at device authentication and the only device I could get to work is an old Samsung Galaxy Note 3. No update available to make it work with iOS devices.

I just got this, and while I love it, I noticed the top oven cooks unevenly. The left side of the oven cooks way faster than the right side. I had a pan of something that was cooked, almost burnt on the left side and undone on the right. I put two pans of cake in- the left side was done a good 5 minutes before the other side. Anyone else experience uneven cooking? I haven't really used the bottom oven yet so I am not sure if that is the same.

We were so excited to get this new oven for our kitchen remodel. Big mistake. I don't know if it is all convection ovens or just this Samsung, but the amount of heat it puts out into the kitchen is staggering. In Minnesota during the winter this might not be a bad thing but in Florida during the summer (& most of the year), it stinks! We have to turn our A/C down while baking cupcakes so you can guess what happens when there is a turkey in there. Our upgrade was actually a step down.
