samsung's products are more glitz than substance. less than a year in, the paint on the oven door started peeling. i submitted a claim after providing proof of date of purchase because samsung claimed my warranty had expired. the door was replaced. after the warranty expired one of the knobs fell off the stove. i inspected the other knobs, and noticed 2 more were cracked. 3 in total. all 3 were for burners that are hardly used. the knob for the burner that used daily is perfectly fine. seems to me, like the paint peeling on the oven door, this is another factory issue. the cost per knob, $90. a $900 stove has $450 worth of knobs!!??

What the Heck?

well, just going on 5 years now and my samsung stove is peeling. samsung french door refrigerator... if you look at it wrong... it gets scratches. a drawer has somehow cracked on its own. my microwave has divots from who knows what. keep in mind... only two adults in our home. great care cleaning with a micro cloth. i don't know... and then i just ordered a new dishwasher... so i can match everything else (that only lasted 6 years). i don't know why i haven't learned. my new samsung washer is new as well, hopefully, nothing will go wrong. kitchen appliances are black stainless.. so maybe that's why its going bad. these are kitchen appliances... not necessarily art pieces to display. they should be functioning and lasting for more than 5 years anyway.... :(

very disappointed with this purchase. this oven's off button isnt working. when i was done cooking the oven woudn't turn off. i had to disconnect it from the cord in order to turn it off. the stainless steal also peals off and it looks ugly. now i have to replace the whole pannel on an oven thats bearly 3 years old. this is a shame, last time i purchase samsung products.

Gets rusted

couple months after we purchased the stove model # nx58j5600sg, burner caps, burner head and the grates got rusted. i wiped them with cloth every night and i only used a sponge with soap and water to clean them every weekend. since it was within the 1st year samsung sent me the replacement parts. few months after using the new parts, same problem arouse. samsung is not willing to send a new set of parts since it passed the 1 year warranty. i have been using samsung products my whole life and this is the only product i had problem with. only reason i had to get rid of my previous stove was it didn't match my new kitchen renovation. it looked brand-new even after 8 years. so i think this model has some cosmetic defects that samsung should fix.

Knobs breaking Off

i purchased this stove a little over a year ago, and regret the decision. the product looked great on the sales floor, but when you actually use the oven, you begin to realize the poor materials and construction. the 'black stainless steel' is a cheap coating that peels off. the burners on the stove top offer inconsistent performance - not a controlled blue flame like my previous stove from another brand. i am so bummed i made this choice, never agin.

Looks aren't everything!

Do not buy Samsung appliances! Warranty of one year, at 2 1/2 years the oven quit working. Samsung knows about the defect on this and many other models but chooses to do nothing for consumers regarding the problem. If a company won't stand behind their products and provide assistance when they know they are at fault I will never do business in any way with them again. purchased this range 11/2016 we were excited and thought we invested in a quality appliance.6 months later, we had our first issue. the stove burners didn't work well & caused gas to permeate the air. contacted samsung and they sent a repair company. the issues reoccurred 1 more time in warranty and now a total of 2 other times out of warranty. the center burner on the stovetop keeps partially lighting. july they did a courtesy out of warranty repair and replaced the center burner, i called in oct. because the same burner now only lights 1/4 of the way again. the response received the past 4 times i've called is i would have to pay for it- why should i pay for an issue that has existed! i am highly disappointed! appliances shouldn't last only 3 yrs! i'm stuck with a stove that's a hazard!

we purchased an entire kitchen of samsung products in april of 2017. i was so excited because in was my very first full set of new appliances and i cook every day. it is now september of 2020 and every single appliance has failed except the microwave. this stove and the dishwasher no longer work. the stove has a broken knob, the samsung logo has "melted" off, the exterior color is peeling off, and it will no longer heat up. the stormwash dishwasher also no longer works as well... it has standing water that does not pump out. the refrigerator ice maker stops working every month and i have to chisel it out due to the poor design. i will never purchase samsung appliances again. but i will be purchasing something since i can no longer cook with the oven!!!!!

Gas Knob stuck within a year

this is the worst product i have used. i had two gas ranges which are 15 and 10 year old and we felt it was time to replace both of them. we went and bought this samsung model because of the new style and also brand as we though samsung would be more reliable. the gas range knob stopped working in about a year even though we use the gas range less frequently as we have two ranges in home. this gas range is pampered and always cleaned after use and we never had anyone mess with the knob but one day the gas knob got stuck and stopped turning. at first i thought it might be some child lock feature by samsung as it was stuck hard. then upon searching online i found out this is a common problem with these gas ranges. this is really bad range considering the price i spent on it.

I've had this range for about 3-4 months now and it cooks everything perfectly and in a zip! Takes a little getting used to with how much time to cook everything, but it's so fast! the griddle that's included is also SUPER non-stick! it's fantastic. a few reasons it's not 5 stars: - either my install didn't totally level my range or the griddle doesn't sit correctly all the time and causes my eggs to slide around and go off into the edges - annoying but not a deal breaker - the front right burner gets so hot when it's on high that it makes my microwave handle hot to the touch - the material of the black stainless is kind of hard to get grease off - really have to scrub but then you also don't want to scratch the material either.

Top design

Top design is not as good as I expected. I use foil paper to cover the top surface but there are too much deep pocket for each burner so it's hard to put foil in those pocket

it started off beautiful but as soon as our warranty expired the plastic piece holding the burner control knobs on began breaking. we are now not able to use two of our burners.

replaced oven igniter, temp sensor and now knobs have cracked on a 3 year old range.no way would i ever recommend a samsung range to anyone ever again.they need to stick to making tvs and not ranges.

Disappointing Product and Warranty

i would not recommend the black stainless steel. the black is a film that peels off. also, the grates rust. samsung takes no responsibility for this appliance.

very disappointed with the peeling black stainless coating. i have many samsung products in my 2 houses,but this is the first range from samsung. would not recommend for this reason

Good Range/Bad Finish

purchased in 11/17. had to replace the oven door & a burner knob as finish was peeling. the back panel is scratched and peeling because of the design. three knobs are also have peeling.

the circuit board went out on thanksgiving day. samsung customer service was very helpful. hardest part was finding warranty service company to perform the work. went 2 weeks without the oven.
