worked fine for a few months, not constant c03 error code something caught in the right wheel but there isn't anything there. cleaned sensors and checked wiring but still same code.. seems to be a bug in the mother board which for the price its unfortunate.

we've had the product for almost a year. we use it in a small hard surface living room/kitchen. we have 3 dogs and 2 cats. the product claimed to be great for pet hair but it clogs so quickly that we can't leave it alone for more then 15-20 mins. it also completely misses spots and numerous times has tried to dock with the docking station only to end up on it backwords/sideways.

this vacuum has never found it's way back to the charging station in the 18 months i've owned it. it will spin around in large circles about 10 times and then shut down. this is my second vacuum because the motor on the first one (a different model) died, but that vacuum always found it's way back, so i think this one was a lemon.

cleans great and is quiet in 'quiet' mode. we have 80% wood/tile and 20% rug. we have owned our r7070 for just over a year and the roller/brush has destroyed itself twice now. for $600, it's hard to justify another $70 every year of ownership. and if you cannot find the replacement part, you have a very expensive paperweight. it's good when it works, but i cannot recommend due to how often the roller/brush gets destroyed.

we bought this vacuum in december of 2018 and it was our first robot vacuum. we actually really liked it and it did a pretty good job. we ran it maybe every other day and it kept up with our pet's shedding alright. now we're 2 years into the future, and it's making a horrible sound. naturally, we looked it over and cleaned it out and came to the conclusion that maybe it needed a new brush. we have been unable to find a replacement brush. yes, we tried samsungparts, ebay, amazon and our original retailer. this part isn't available. period. they want you to upgrade to a newer vacuum. so, we're stuck with a $700 paperweight. ultimately, i try to buy products that last longer than 2 years. and this doesn't seem to be the case purely because samsung can't provide a $30.00 part.

this vacuum hands down is the best outthere and i have even recommended it to friends and family who have also purchased one or a different model. however, it has a dessign fault, this piece of equipment is worthless once you need to replace the brush. i was able to replace it once over a year ago via amazon but since i have not been able to find part dj97-02508a. i'm not the only one experiencing this problem if you do a search on the part # you can see for yourself. samsungparts.com doesn't have the part, and you can probably find it on ebay, but be ready to pay $100 for a $30 part. i don't recommend before you make sure they have basic replacement parts available. now to go leave a review in another platform.

purchased the product in december 2019 for my condo. in july 2020, i had to send the robot back due to samsung for not being able to charge. by the way there is only a one year warranty on the product. the unit comes back and works for only another five months and again for rhe same issue not being able to be charged. spoke to customer service who advised me that the product was out of warranty and i would have to spend my own money to get the unit repaired. the unit was never repaired appropraitely the first time as the repair only lasted five months. this is not a cheap unit and i recommend that you look elsehere.

this is the third robot vacuum that i have bought and the first one that actually gets the job done. i have five dogs and two cats so i ask a lot of a vacuum. this one i have set to run every night at midnight on my first floor and it does a great job. my only complaint is that i have to empty it every night because the holder of the material is tiny. but it does a great job – super happy i finally found this one!

the 2 brushes sold on website for about $30 are not compatible with this model. can't find the brush on samsungparts website either. you can call and order it over the phone for $90 (are you kidding me?) but they won't give you the part number for you to try to search and buy it yourself. if you buy this crap, pray that nothing needs replacement.

this is my third powerbot. as each one fails within a few months, goes back for service three times and is eventually refunded, we have gone up a level in model. this one lasted 8 months before making a loud noise and eventually refusing to suction. it was under warranty so it was repaired (something about the motor brush) but i have little confidence it will stay functional for long. it does a great job vacuuming intelligently but only when it's not broken...

even though i bought this to replace my roomba based on consumer report ratings, this vacuum was terrible from the start. it constantly got caught on the fireplace even with the magnetic strips to prevent it. lots of furniture damage, too. sofa & chair legs, a sofa table, kitchen molding. it daily got stuck somewhere. cleaning was okay. i finally went out and bought a new roomba & i'm happy again.

We got this vacuum about 18 months ago. We used it sparingly. After using it today, I smelled burning electronics and it stopped moving. It showed a C-03 error and now it won't hold a charge. This costs far too much for 18 months of infrequent use. When it did work, it only did a decent job and would require multiple attempts to vacuum a room. It seemed to take forever to do its job. It seemed to have trouble picking up bigger pieces of lint/string and we'd often have debris laying around after two runs.

I am so happy that i rarely have to manually vacuum now because my Powerbot R7070 really takes care of my needs. This guy does a super good job of mapping the floor plan and really gets to the edges and corners. I use mine on a simple level, i use the remote to start it and hit the repeat so it gets to go a complete cleaning cycle that includes cross ways and corner to corner. I like the feature that sends it home if the bin is full, i just pop it out and empty, it can then finish the complete clean session. Overall i am really happy with the quality, ease of use and of course, my time saved!

I love my POWERbot R7070 and how is helps me keep my house clean. I have 2 kids and 2 cats so keeping the rooms looking neat is a challenge. The vacuum was able to pickup up hair and dirt everywhere it could roam. I used the Auto Mode first and was impressed how it maneuvered around furniture and other objects. Spot Clean mode removed everything from the area it was circling. I could barely hear the sound over my music when using Normal mode. This machine is versatile moving seamlessly from carpet to hardwood floors with no issues. I found the setup to be easy. I charged for about 35 minutes before letting it loose in my living room. I added the Smart Things app and was able to control with my phone immediately. Loved the edge clean feature along the walls. Due to the height of the POWERbot it was not able to get under my low cabinets. The vacuum was able to get under desks and tables fairly efficiently. I have tried but still need to master using the schedule feature. Make sure you pickup clothes and objects off the floor as it can cause the machine to jam or get caught up. I look forward to trying this in other rooms.

Just what I needed in my life!

I live in a two bedroom, two bathroom condo, so I wasn't sure if the POWERbot would work in my tiny space. I also have long, dark hair and feel like I'm constantly sweeping to manage my hair that has fallen all over my tiled floor. The POWERbot was EXACTLY what I needed in my life and I couldn't be happier with it! I was amazed when went under my couch and bed! All those dust bunnies that I try to get with the hose of my vacumm are a thing of the past! I was litterally jumping for joy when I saw that my floor was not only hair free, but dust bunny free as well! I usually turn on the POWERbot when I leave the house because it is a little noisy. I make sure all of my charging cables and cords are up off the floor and all the doors are open. I've also learned that it doesn't like a few of my light weight rugs, so I pick them up and hang them over a chairs before I leave. When I get home, the POWERbot is back on it's charger. It's the best gadget I've purchased in a long time!

I was very excited to try out the Samsung POWERbot 7070 in my home. It amazes me how far technology has come for a device like this to exist. Overall, it worked pretty well. There are definitely both pros and cons that I observed. It's very convenient, has the ability to be controlled by the app or included remote, it can be connected to my Google Home, cleans well and is able to be scheduled to run at set times. However, I did have some trouble setting the vacuum up, and it is not the most user friendly. Someone who is not familiar with technology may have trouble setting the device up. I also noticed that the room needs to be pretty much clear of obstacles, which to me, defeats the purpose of scheduled cleanings, because if I'm not home when it starts to clean and I left something on the floor, it interferes with the device's cleaning routine. I was quite disappointed with the small amount of boundary tape that was included with the device. I had a lot of problems with keeping the POWERbot where I wanted it to go, and where I didn't want it to go, because I only had a small strip of boundary tape, not enough to use for an entire room. I looked up the price of additional boundary tape, and it is quite expensive. The vacuum itself is already expensive, and to have to add expensive boundary tape on top of that is pretty disappointing. This vacuum would be great in a bigger house than I live in, with open floor space. For me and my living situation, the POWERbot is more effort than it is worth, and it's honestly easier to vacuum carpets myself with a regular vacuum. Not to mention, it's supposed to help take the load off of me some, but I find myself in a trance watching the magic of the POWERbot, instead of cleaning other areas of my home, defeating the purpose of a vacuum that does not need to be ran by a person.

This robotic vaccum is top quality. It does a heck of a job thoroughly cleaning my carpet. It's so powerful that it pulls up the nap and really pulls up the dirt. The sensors are amazing and it doesn't run into be or slam into furniture. The remote control is a great option if you want to spot clean, but I prefer to let it do it's thing as it covered my entire condo on one charge. The battery lasts for a couple hours. The device is easily to clean and empty after use. No issues docking. It's also surprisingly quite. Absolutely would recommend if you're looking for a powerful, time-saving device.

So, i love Samsung products and planning to buy a robot vacuum from very long time and finally purchased R7070 with the help of The Insiders campaign! Firstly, i loved it the way they packed everything neatly in an order and perfectly organised. The box had Tape Extra Filter Docking Station, batteries and a remote with the robot. It looked so cute though! I immediately wanted to give a try and start using it so it needed to charge for an half an hour for the first time to use. I had vacuumed three days ago from the day I received this guy and thought why not try It again anyways! The main thing I brought this because i can control this with the remote or the Samsung phone & even with voice control with Amazon Alexa! I was pretty impressed, as the suction power of this robot is great, it goes every corner of the house easily, goes under the furniture, steps up the rug with ease and cleans every bit possible by picking up dirt, dust and also tiny hair making the carpet and the wooden floor super clean ! It automatically adjusts the suction based on the floor type, as it has 3 suction power modes: Turbo, Normal and Quite. Can use about 60-80 mins of battery life per charge . It has self clean brush, which detangles and removes hairs from it automatically which i fell in love with! I usually schedule the cleaning time when i am not at home for the automatic cleaning and tada! a clean home when I return! Now coming to the downside, it does makes noise while cleaning and i feel it's a minor thing when compared to everything i get from the robot . Overall, i am a happy customer of Samsung R7070 and I definitely recommend to every Robot Vacuum lover out there!
